American actor, producer, and comedian, Paul Rudd, was born April 6, 1969. Only son of Michael and Gloria Rudd, Rudd grew up in Overland Park, Kansas, where his mother worked at the tv station, KSMO-TV, as a sales manager. Attending Broadmoor Junior High before attending Shawnee Mission West High School, Rudd had an average education before he enrolled in university in 1987.

Attending the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Rudd studied as a theater major before studying under the American Academy of Dramatic Arts after graduation. Pursuing classical theater at the academy, Rudd then progressed towards stage and theater acting in England, while participating in a three-month workshop.

However, things would soon change for Rudd upon landing a role in “Clueless” (1995). In the role of the ex-stepbrother to the female main character, this quickly established Rudd as a charming, teen heartthrob in the 90’s and even early 2000’s.

Today, Rudd is a major A-list actor with many credits under his belt. Most recently starring in “Anaconda” (2025), “Death of a Unicorn” (2025), and “Friendship” (2024), Rudd has more than proved himself to be a serious and dedicated actor in Hollywood. Set to star in many upcoming films in 2026, Rudd’s fame appears to only be on the rise!
