Actor of the Month for May 2026

Bio

Pedro Pascal is a Chilean-born American actor born on April 2nd, 1975. He is known for his roles as a parent in television and film.  He has an older sister and a younger sister who are also actresses, as well as a younger brother. He attended the Orange County School of the Arts and graduated from New York University in 1997. On stage, he has appeared in various theater productions, making his Broadway debut as Edmund in the 2019 adaptation of King Lear.  

Pedro Pascal is known for smaller TV roles for nearly two decades before his breakthrough as Oberyn Martell in season 4 of Game of Thrones. This opened doors to larger opportunities. He has also played Joel Miller in The Last of Us, which earned him numerous accolades, including a SAG Award for Outstanding Male Actor in a Drama Series. 

Pedro’s latest work was in The Last of Us season 2, and his new roles are in the new Star Wars movie, The Mandalorian, and in Grogu as Din Djarin, which is coming out later this year. He won an Actor Award, in addition to nominations for a Golden Globe Award and four Primetime Emmy Awards.
