Sabrina Carpenter: Artist of The Summer

At just age 25, Sabrina Carpenter has created an incredible resume. Starting acting at age 11, then landing a recurring role in the Disney hit show “Girl Meets World” at age 14, Carpenter has made a name for herself.

Soon after starring on Disney, Carpenter signed with Hollywood Studies, starting her music career and releasing her first songs in 2014. Since then, Carpenter has worked incredibly hard, putting out several singles and albums while continuing to act. In the past year alone, she opened for Taylor Swift on the Era’s tour, performed at Coachella, and put out several top hits, such as “Espresso” and “Please Please Please.”

Recently, Carpenter has gained a lot of publicity for changing the outro for her song “Nonsense.” The original outro is, “This song catchier than chickenpox is. I bet your house is where my other sock is. Woke up this morning, thought I’d write a pop hit, ha-ha. How quickly can you take your clothes off? Pop quiz.” At Coachella, she changed her outro to, “Knees so weak, he had to spread mine. He’s drinking my bath water like it’s red wine. Coachella see you back here when I headline.” In this outro, she referenced the popular movie “Saltburn”. Carpenter’s boyfriend, Barry Keoghan, stars in this movie.

Miss Carpenter plans to release her sixth album, “Short N Sweet” on August 23, 2024. Following this, on September 23, 2024, she will start her fifth tour, her first arena tour.

Tickets for this upcoming tour went on sale on June 28, 2024, and sold out shortly after going live. At only 4’11, she is topping the game in the music industry. With her music continuing to soar in the charts, her new music is expected to be heard everywhere.

As Taylor Swift commented on Sabrina Carpenter’s Instagram post, “SUMMER OF SABRINA,” she is absolutely right.
