The 1975 is a four piece pop rock band, hailing from Wilmslow Cheshire England. Often tapping into eras of musical influence, their early releases waxed nostalgic of the soundtracks of 80s films created by John Hughes. With catchy melodic choruses and dancey mid tempo grooves making up the basis for their composition, English and American audiences quickly took notice.
