The schedule for New York’s spring 2025 fashion week is up: here’s what we have to look forward to

With the middle of summer nearly upon us, fashion fans everywhere are already starting to think about the shows September has to offer. Though its schedule might be small, New York’s spring 2025 Fashion Week, with its list of events that would be devastating to miss, is ready to go.

According to Vogue, New York’s Fashion Week is scheduled to start on Friday, September 6th at 1 p.m. The kick-off event will feature Area and its 10th anniversary. Opening day will also include shows with Collina Strada and Willy Chavarria.

Joining Strada and Chavarria is Belgian designer Pieter Mulier. Opting out of Alaïa’s off-calendar slot next to the Paris couture season, Mulier, Vogue says, is “in favor of an off-calendar show here in the Big Apple”.

Traveling from Paris to Mexico, Fashion Week attendees will see a show featuring the brand Campillo the next day, Saturday, September 7, at 9 a.m. Campillo’s director, Patricio Campillo, was recently named an LVMH Prize finalist. Vogue stated this is Campillo’s first fashion show in New York.

Another show scheduled for Saturday, Who Decides War, is set to start at 1 p.m.

Returning to European brands, Fashion Week attendees will see Off-White cross the Atlantic into the States, the show scheduled for Sunday, September 8th at 12. New York’s spring 2025 Fashion Week will be Ib Kamara’s second outing as Off-White’s official creative director.

On Tuesday, September 10th, Fashion Week visitors will see a show featuring Elin Kling and Karl Lindman of Toteme at 10 a.m.

Ronald van der Kemp is scheduled to show his fall 2024 couture collection on Wednesday, September 11th at 11 a.m.

Rio Uribe’s “newly christened brand”, as Vogue calls it, Rio Sport is showing September 11th at 1 p.m.

The New York Fashion Week’s finale, September 11th at 5 p.m., will feature Melitta Baumeister, the winner of last year’s CVFF, and her first fashion show.

Vogue has also stated that “the week will…feature a large contingent of this year’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists”. This list includes Kate Barton, Grace Ling, Jane Wade, Wiederhoeft, Sebastien Ami, Presley Oldham, and 5000’s Taylor Thompson.

Get ready N.Y. fashion lovers! This is scheduled to be one fun week filled with jaw-dropping outfits.
