Top three best and most affordable blushes (Op-Ed)

I’ve always been a sucker for eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshadow. However, I have never been a huge fan of blush. I always felt that if I wore it I’d look like a clown. Thanks to these three amazing and affordable blushes I no longer feel that way. My top three favorite cheap blushes are NYX Professional Makeup Sweet Cheeks Soft Cheek Tint, Maybelline Cheek Heat Gel Crème Blush, and E.L.F Cosmetics Putty Blush.

In my experience applying blush, I’ve learned that your complexion, the lighting of the room in which you’re applying the product, and most of the time the quality of the product matter. Whenever I bought a blush that was too cheap or when I applied it in a room with poor lighting, I always walked out looking crazy.

If I applied blush that didn’t necessarily work well with my complexion it would ruin my whole look. This is why it is important to be familiar with your facial features and your complexion when applying makeup because it will help you choose your products wisely.

NYX is not just my favorite brand for lip gloss but also for blush. This liquid blush was super natural-looking and made my cheeks look genuinely flushed and cute. I am a big advocate and lover of natural beauty. The fact that it made my cheeks look this way is what made me fall in love with this product. It was also tremendously cheap as it only cost me 9-10 dollars at my local CVS. It also has a whopping 4.5-star rating online!

I first purchased Maybelline’s Crème Blush when I was about 13 and I was drawn in by how stunning this blush looked on my cheeks. Like NYX, the effect was very subtle which made it look natural. This crème blush cost me about 8-9 dollars in CVS and it has an impressive 4.2-star rating online.

Last but not least is the E.L.F blush. This blush, unlike the last two products, looks very much like your traditional blush. Like the previous products, it comes in a variety of gorgeous shades. This blush gave my cheeks a dewy, rosy glow all day. It felt very light and easy on my skin, and I looked super cute. It cost me 7-8 dollars on Amazon, and it is the highest-rated product on this list with an impressive 4.4/5 rating! Go E.L.F!
