Last night was the first Presidential Debate between current VP Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. There were many memorable moments throughout the night, including multiple that were poked fun at on social media. One of these moments was Donald Trump saying he had “concepts of a plan” when asked about healthcare.
The quote has been used a lot on X/Twitter since the debate, poking fun at situations where someone didn’t have a plan, but a concept of a plan. Most of the memes that I have seen have been sports-related. Users will show images of sports teams’ general managers, coaches, and players who famously made big mistakes and caption the posts he had “concepts of a plan” too. It has already become very popular.
Another viral moment came when Harris said that the attack on January 6th was the work attack on the United States democracy since the 1860s during the Civil War. This comment was poorly timed for Harris who said this just a day before the 23rd Anniversary of the September 11th Attacks. People were not pleased that this seemed to slip her mind.
Donald Trump Jr. took to X/Twitter posting, “Kamala Harris actually said that January 6th was the worst attack on our democracy since the civil war…The day before 9/11 🤡🤡🤡”.
