Nick Rivera Caminero, who performs as Nicky Jam, is a famous American artist. He is known for his traditional reggaeton style and his romantic lyrics. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with many other big Latin artists such as Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, Ozuna, Plan B and Anuel AA.

Nicky Jam was born on March 17, 1981, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, but moved with his family to Puerto Rico when he was 10. He was 14 when he released his first EP,  …Distinto a los demás (1995), which caught the attention of Daddy Yankee. The two would go on to form the group Los Cangris, performing together until 2004. A period of personal struggles didn’t keep Nicky Jam out of the spotlight for long, as in 2014, he released his singles, Voy a Beber and Travesuras, showing off his melodic style. 

Nicky Jam has released 8 studio albums, including Fénix (2017), Infinity (2021), Sunshine (2025), and most recently, Bohemio (2026). He has been nominated for and won many awards, including 3 Billboard Music Awards for Top Latin Song, 20 Billboard Latin Music Awards, and 6 Heat Latin Music Awards. In 2022, he was also inducted into the Billboard Latin Music Hall of Fame.
