Llandel Veguilla Malavé, aka Yandel, is a Puerto Rican singer-songwriter and member of the reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel. Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, Yandel’s music career began after he met Wisin in school and formed their iconic musical duo in 1998. Two years later, the duo released their debut album Los Reyes del Nuevo Milenio in 2000. By 2004, the duo released three more certified gold albums, resulting in a Tu Música Award for Best Rap/Reggaeton Duo in 2002.

Yandel would release his first solo album, Quien Contra Mi, in 2003 but would focus his music within the duo, even establishing a music label with Wisin called WY Records in 2005. Yandel would continue to perform in the duo and work with the label until 2013, when they went on hiatus. That same year, Yandel would release his second solo studio album, De Líder a Leyenda. Yandel would go on to release several more solo albums, with his latest, Infinito, released in 2026.
