We all know that AI is a controversial subject, especially when it comes to using it, if it is ethical or not. Even some politicians are most likely using AI to make campaigns and things like flyers or commercials and other creative things to help them win in their election.
But when it comes to creative jobs like writing, art and making music, these jobs are in jeopardy because AI can make paintings, it can write full 20-30k word novels, and it can take lyrics and use a generated voice to sing the lyrics in the style that you like.
Now when it comes to creative jobs like those, using AI is pretty unethical because it’s not your own work that you are creating. If you are using it to write a novel and then sell that novel to a publishing company, that is extremely unethical because someone could buy that book and potentially love it. It wouldn’t be your work and claiming it is, that just isn’t right.
Now if you send AI a prompt, saying something like “horror game ideas” and then use those ideas to make your own story, I do not think that is unethical. AI is a subject that people love to argue about and I think they are justified, to a point.
When it comes to politics, we know some people will use it for ideas or even just to make things as I mentioned, flyers saying to vote for them or commercials making them look good that is extremely unethical and that is where most people will get angry. Even for game design people us AI to make a game from scratch but instead of coding it themselves, they use AI and have it make assets, story, code itself,
Politicians are pretty unethical to begin without AI to make them worse. Most cases using AI would be considered unethical, and there are some cases that I find that it’s fine to use it. But most people who love it don’t have creative jobs so they don’t care either way.
We need a world where using it is safe, and we only use it for good!
