Bio

DeAndre Hopkins is a wide receiver in the NFL. Before his professional career, Hopkins was a player at Clemson University. He was drafted by the Houston Texans in 2013 and was traded to the Arizona Cardinals in 2020, where he currently plays.

He practiced with a number of professional teams during his time in college, including the Carlina Panthers and the Dallas Cowboys. He also passed up his senior year to enter the NFL draft and was drafted in the first round after being ranked third best wide receiver prospect by draft analysts.

Hopkins is the second highest-ranked wide receiver in the NFL and ranked in the Top 8 of current NFL players overall. During his time with Arizona, he has set a franchise record for number of receptions in a single season at 115. He also set records at Clemson of receiving yards and career touchdown receptions.

At 29 years old, he has passed the “peak” age of average wide receivers of about 26 or 27, but he has made no comments of looking to retire anytime soon.
