Born March 23^rd of 1992 in Melbourne, Australia, 30-year-old Kyrie Irving now plays for the Brooklyn Nets of the NBA. The American professional basketball player was named “Rookie of the Year” back in 2011 after his selection by the Cleveland Cavaliers and won an NBA championship with the Cavaliers in 2016. In college, Irving played for Duke University’s Blue Devils. Irving signed his 4-year, $136.5 million contract with the Nets in 2019, including a $36.9 million player option for the 2022-2023 season.
