Mia Lailani is a 15-year-old Puerto Rican singer-songwriter who aspires to inspire the world with music. She, along with her brother and father, makes up the musical powerhouse that fuel her talents.

Lailani’s debut album Blink of an Eye was released on July 2, but she had been making music long before that. In 2018, she released “We Have,” a song that her brother collaborated on, much like the rest of her discography.

According to her website, Mia’s musical journey began at the age of two, when her mother overheard her singing in her cot. Having grown up in a musical-oriented home, it was a surprise to no one in her family that Mia would inherit the musical gene.

Lailani’s most recent single is “Sweet Dreams,” which is complimented by her sultry voice and meaningful lyrics. Like the rest of her music, it is lyrically meaningful with many layers to the song beneath the surface.

In terms of her musical inspirations, Lailani has said that Harry Styles, Olivia Rodrigo, and Freddie Mercury are among her top choices.
