Harden to leave Houston

The Brooklyn Nets are embarking on a four-team trade that will significantly upgrade their current lineup.

The star of this deal is James Harden, the eight-time All-Star who has made it abundantly clear that he wants out of Houston, to the point of going on the record and saying that the Rockets are “not good enough.” Durant, who now plays for Brooklyn, has been outspoken about wanting to reunite on the court with Harden, who he played with in Oklahoma from 2009-2012.

As the Senate will not return until January 19th, the second impeachment trial of President Trump will overlap with the beginning of President-elect Joe Biden’s term. Despite a Democratic push to reconvene the Senate immediately to begin the trial after Trump’s impeachment Wednesday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell stated that the body will not return until the day before Biden’s inauguration.
