After collaborating with artists like Bad Bunny, Diplo, and Justin Bieber, it wasn’t a surprise when the news came out that SZA would collaborate with Crocs. R&B singer and producer, Sza partnered with the comfortable footwear brand Crocs in a limited-edition collection for mental health awareness month.
When advertising her collection with Crocs, Sza highlights a group of social advocates that she finds inspiring and calls them ‘SZA’s Superheroes.’ The group includes advocates like Donté Colley, Yaris Sanchez, and Sage Adams. The group of activists is known for advocating for Black mental health and creating positive reform in their communities.
Proceeds from the profit made from the shows will go to the mental health awareness organizations like Sad Girls Club, Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation, and the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI), all of which provide mental health help to diverse communities.
Sza’s collaboration features two-limited edition show types. The Crocs Classic Clog is going for $70, and the Crocs Classix Slide is being sold for $40. The style of the shows showcases Sza’s personality and style. They are dawned in a warm woodgrain pattern with custom colorful Jibbitz charms that show Sza’s love for nature.

In an interview with Girls United, Sza expresses her love for nature “Nature saved my life and continues to do so all the time, It’s a window into God’s eye. I’m grateful that it has a soothing, connecting effect on me, and that’s why I bring it into so much of it in my work.”
In order to purchase the shoes, you would have to enter a drawing for a chance to buy a pair from the collection. The collection drawing was made available to join beginning May 2, 2022, at noon EST through May 6, 2022, with quantities limited to one pair per customer.
