The Cristian Rivera Foundation is excited to honor their newest warrior, Jesselyn Silva, at their 5th Annual Full Steam Ahead 5K this Saturday, June 18, 2022! Champion boxer, published author, and star of a documentary film—Jesselyn “JessZilla” Silva is in the biggest fight of her life after being diagnosed in July of 2021 with DMG (Diffuse Midline Glioma) an aggressive and inoperable pediatric brain tumor, at the age of 15.

Gio Urshela and Kenan Thompson Help the Cristian Rivera Foundation Kick-Off Brain Tumor Awareness Month by Honoring “Rock Star” Warrior, Maria Kuenster
To kick off Brain Tumor Awareness Month this May, the Cristian Rivera Foundation arranged for the “Rock Star” Warrior, Maria Kuenster to receive great seats at the Minnesota Twins game last weekend and to meet the CRF 2021 “Heroes Award” winner Gio Urshela. The next morning, they flew her to NYC where she also received special seats for a showing of Saturday Night Live from one of CRF’s most generous board members Kenan Thompson, who also greeted her after the show.
Kenan Thompson’s Milestone of 1500 Sketches on SNL
Kenan Thompson reached a milestone accomplishment of performing in 1500 sketches on Saturday Night Live on March 5. The veteran comedian, who has been a part of the SNL cast since 2003, performed his 1500th skit, “Home Repair Show” before receiving a backstage celebration from cast and crewmates, applauding the star for his amazing accomplishment.
