A bit over a month since the first official hearing regarding the capitol riots on January 6th, 2021, former Trump Administration White House advisor Steve Bannon has finally agreed to testify at the hearings after not cooperating initially. While Bannon was fired from his position in 2017 amid speculation that he did not get along well with other members of staff as well as Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, he has now been brought back into the public eye during his contempt of Congress trial.
