Ricky Martin has won the legal battle against his nephew, who withdrew his previous claims of being sexually harassed and abused by the singer. The reason for his withdrawal has not been made public, only that the judge has decided to dismiss the restraining order that was issued a week ago against Ricky Martin. On July 1st, Ricky’s 21-year-old nephew, Dennis Sanchez, filed a restraining order against the singer under Puerto Rico’s domestic violence law. Sanchez claimed the two of them were in an illegal incest relationship that lasted 7 months, and that Martin harassed him when it ended. If his allegations had proved to be true, the Latin pop icon could have faced over 50 years in prison.
