Police Arrest Suspect in Midtown Atlanta Shooting
This Wednesday, police arrested a man accused of opening fire inside the waiting room of a Midtown Atlanta medical building killing one woman and wounding four. Police said in a statement that the suspect, whom they identified as 24-year-old Deion Patterson, was taken into custody in Cobb County, just northwest of Atlanta.

Arrests Made in Fatal Shooting of Migos Rapper Takeoff
Police arrested two people in connection with the slaying of renowned Migos rapper Takeoff, who was “an innocent bystander” when he was fatally shot last month, Houston authorities said Friday. Patrick Clark, 33, was arrested Thursday on a charge of murder, Houston Police Chief Troy Finner said in a news conference. Clark was being held in jail Friday awaiting a bond hearing. Court records do not list an attorney who could for him, but indicate he was arrested as he was preparing to leave the country for Mexico.

Spirit Airlines Flight Briefly Catches
Fire At Atlanta Airport
A Spirit Airlines plane landing at Hartsfield-Jackson International airport in Atlanta on Sunday morning briefly caught fire on the runway when one of its landing gear breaks overheated and started to release smoke. First responders in the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department hosed off the aircrafts tires, and managed to put out the fire which was ignited at 9:25 a.m. Passengers from Flight 383 from Tampa, Florida were able to safely get off the plane. According to Spirit spokesman Erik Hofmeyer, there were no injuries.
