Delaware will Give Free Solar Panels to Low-Income Residents

Solar energy is among the cleanest forms of electricity generation. There is 0% of harmful emissions released when solar panels transform sunlight into electricity. Despite this, it is not easily accessible for a lot of people. In 2020, there were less than 3 million residential solar systems in the US.
In an effort to change this, Delaware’s Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control has launched a number of Weatherization and Solar programs to facilitate access to solar energy for low and moderate-income families.
