A parking garage in lower Manhattan’s Financial District collapsed on Tuesday, killing one worker, injuring five, and crushing cars as concrete floors fell on top of each other.
The six workers in the building at the time of the collapse have all been accounted for. One was killed, four were hospitalized in stable condition, and the other refused medical attention, according to CBS News New York.

The decision will allow Kyrie Irving, star player of the Brooklyn Nets, to play at-home games. Kyrie Irving went public three months ago about refusing to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
1,430 Workers Fired for Not Getting the Vaccine
Is it good New York is doing this or is this too extreme? 1,430 government workers got fired by Mayor Eric Adams for not getting their COVID vaccinations. The number of those who are infected by COVID-19 have significantly decreased as people are showing proof of vaccinations in New York City. Mayor Adams stated, “City workers served on the frontlines during the pandemic, and by getting vaccinated, they are, once again, showing how they are willing to do the right thing to protect themselves and all New Yorkers.”
