Throughout history, women have ruled the fashion industry. From iconic designers such as Donatella Versace to legendary actresses such as Audrey Hepburn, here are the top five women who have tremendously influenced the fashion industry throughout the 20th and 21st centuries.
On Friday Indiana became the first state in the nation to approve abortion restrictions since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Republican Gov. Eric Holcomb quickly signed a near-total ban on the procedure shortly after lawmakers approved it. The ban is set to take effect on Sept. 12, and it includes some exceptions.
Anne Heche is in stable condition two days after the car she was driving crashed into a home and became engulfed in flames, a spokesperson for the actress said. Heche was previously in an intensive care unit with “severe burns” following the Friday crash.

The suspect involved in the random box-cutter attack on a 59-year-old Asian woman in NYC has been arrested and charged with a hate crime, police said. Anthony Evans, 30, was caught on camera slashing the 59-year-old woman Sunday morning as she was walking along Seventh Avenue near West 42nd Street in Manhattan, authorities say. Evans– who had been previously arrested more than 30 times– was arrested by the NYPD on Tuesday in Manhattan and charged with assault as a hate crime and criminal possession of a weapon.

In an interview with ABC News, the family of Selena Quintanilla-Perez announced the release of ‘Moonchild Mixes,’ a collection of songs featuring digital alternations of vocals the late singer recorded as a teenager. The album is set to come out Aug. 26 through Warner Music Latina. The first single is a new version of “Como Te Quiero Yo A Ti” which has already been released on music streaming platforms.
