NBA’s Iman Shumpert Arrested for Marijuana Possession at Texas Airport
Former NBA player, Iman Shumpert, was arrested Saturday afternoon at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport for cannabis possession. According to sources, according to the Dallas Fort Worth Airport Department of Public Safety, he had six ounces of cannabis in a bag when he tried to pass through airport security for his flight back to Los Angeles.

Concealed Weapons Charge
Former Seattle Seahawk offensive lineman and current free agent, Duane Brown, was arrested Saturday at Los Angeles International Airport for allegedly carrying a concealed weapon in his luggage. According to multiple reports, the former NFL player was detained while going through security. Brown is due in LAX Superior Court on Aug. 3 following his arrest on a misdemeanor weapons charge.

TX After Police Find Rifle In Vehicle
A student at Berkner High School in Texas was arrested after police found an AK-47 style handgun and a AR-15 replica rifle inside of his car on Wednesday, a day after the deadly school shooting in Uvalde, Texas. The student was arrested inside of his high school right after police received reports of an armed man walking towards campus. No injuries or gunfire were reported.
Woman Arrested After Faking Her Own Kidnapping
Sherri Papini is being arrested after faking her own kidnapping. Authorities have uncovered that while many were searching for her those three weeks in November 2016 for Sherri, she was with her ex-boyfriend in his apartment. Since 2016, Papini defrauded the Victim Compensation Board of $30,000 to pay for therapy and doctors’ visits resulting after the false kidnapping.

Rapper Chief Keef, whose real name is Keith Cozart, was arrested on Wednesday, January 26, 2017, for robbery and assault. The police arrested Chief Keef and four other people in connection with the robbery. Chief Keef and four other people are suspected of breaking into Chief Keef’s former manager, “Ramsay Tha Great”, home and stealing cash and a Rolex. Chief Keef was booked yesterday and has a $500,000 bail.
