Denmark’s first game in Euro 2020 was against Finland in a match that was overshadowed by a tragedy. Danish midfielder, Christian Eriksen, collapsed in the first half of the game and went under cardiac arrest on the field. Danish captain, Simon Kjaer, identified the issue immediately and prevented Eriksen from swallowing his tongue and administered CPR while the medics came.
