General James B Hecker, commander of the US air forces in Europe and air forces in Africa, reports that an MQ-5 drone ran a routine surveillance flight in international airspace between Turkey, Ukraine, and Russia. During the flight, two Russian fighter jets encountered and harassed the aircraft over the Black Sea.

Tension Rising Between US and China Over Taiwan
China has released a stern statement concerning President Biden’s warnings over Taiwan a few weeks ago. Wei Fenghe, China’s Defense Minister, warned that China would, “resolutely crush any attempt” made by the United States to interfere with China’s affairs in Taiwan.
First US Congressional Hearing about UFOs in 50 Years
For the first time in almost 50 years, the United States Congress held a public hearing to discuss UFO sightings. However, the hearing concluded with few questions actually answered and very little new information presented. Although most supposed UFO sightings can be explained, there are a handful which the public still has not been given answers to, and the military claims it is unable to answer as well.
Biden’s Nomination for Coast Guard Commandant Will Make History for Women in the Armed Forces
Biden’s administration announced on April 5th, that he has nominated Adm. Linda Fagan to serve as the commandant for the United States Coast Guard. If she is confirmed for this position, she will become the first woman in American history to lead a branch of the military. Fagan would replace Adm. Karl Schultz, who is retiring from his position as the current commandant.
