Facebook Parent Company Meta Set to Lay Off 11,000 Employees
On Wednesday, Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp Parent Company Meta said it is laying off 11,000 employees, marking the most significant job cuts in the tech giant’s history. The job cuts come as Meta confronts a range of challenges to its core business and makes an uncertain and costly bet on pivoting to the metaverse. NFTs are Coming to Instagram
As announced, Instagram is getting ready to support NFTs. The intention to add NFTs to the Meta platform was confirmed by Mark Zuckerberg in a report about the site’s new features back in January.
