This summer has been a violent one in the Washington DC area. Shootings and murders are up. In fact, 2 of our veteran Guardian Angels lost loved ones to gunfire. In addition to patrolling these high crime areas and leading marches against the violence, our chapter leader John “Unique” Ayala brought his members out on Halloween to pass out candy to children in safe areas – Frederick Douglass Community/Ceder Hill, SE and Potomac Gardens, SE.
