Blondie Announces New 2025 Music Album Update

The influential rock band Blondie has announced a new album for next year. The twelfth new album was initially alluded to in late October this year, and now the band has more news for its fans. The social media post revealed a black-and-white photo of the band’s studio with the caption “New Blondie album next year.” Another photo posted on the account revealed a photo of Grammy-winning producer John Congleton in the studio, who will be producing the new album.

This album marks Blondie’s first major release in seven years. Their eleventh studio album, Pollinator (2017), received widespread critical acclaim and included collaborations with music icons like Joan Jett, Laurie Anderson, and John Roberts. The album’s songwriting credits also featured big names such as Johnny Marr, Charli XCX, TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek, and Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes.

Although work on the new album is well underway, details such as its artwork or an exact release date remain under wraps. Fans are eagerly awaiting more updates, which are expected to surface in the coming months.
