The Biden administration is proposing that nutrition labels—with simplified information—go on the front of food packages as part of a strategy to end diet-related diseases and hunger in America.
Biden continues Trump’s Program for Private Medicare Without Patients’ Consent
During Trump’s time as President, he started a program where doctors and insurers negotiate the conditions for private insurance. Patients are not consulted on this action. The Biden administration is continuing its tracks away from the public eye as the program could help expand the privatization of Medicare. Lawmakers and medical workers are inspecting this program, leading to wanting the stop of privatized Medicare as it limits people from getting the health services they need.
