Bill White is a man that I have known my whole baseball life. He is a man that when you first meet him, you knew that he demanded and deserved respect. During black history month and every day, I must honor Bill White. This is a man that on the baseball field was an eight-time all-star and a seven-time Golden glove winner. This is a man that was a World Champion with the St Louis Cardinals in 1964 when they beat Mickey Mantle and the Yankees.
