Cosmetic surgery used to be something that only celebrities had access to, but these days, more and more people are finding themselves in consultation offices for strictly cosmetic procedures. The rise in such procedures has a lot to do with their rise in celebrity spheres. Influencers like the Kardashians who are infamous for their frequent operations, to obtain their dramatic hourglass figures and Instagram ready faces, have largely contributed to the popularity of such procedures and consequently their negative side effects. Among others, increased insecurities is a predominant negative side effect that comes from having cosmetic surgery done.
