Library Of Congress Reveals 25 New Films Added To National Film Registry

Since its creation in 1988, the National Film Registry has added new movies each year to its collection. The films selected for the registry have impacted America culturally, historically, and/or aesthetically. The goal of the registry is to preserve these films in order to showcase the nation’s cinematic heritage to future generations. This year, the movies chosen span from 1902 to 2008.
