The Screen Actors Guild Awards is one of the biggest Hollywood celebrations since 1995. In this event, 2,100 random members of the union vote for the winners in two different committees: one for film and one for television. The awards are considered an indicator of success at the Academy Awards in acting categories. Being one of the very few awards ceremonies where both film and television performances are recognized on the same night, celebrities walk the silver carpet dressed up to the nines.
