Although PSG had a brilliant startto the game with two successive goals by Kylian Mbappe and Neymar during the first 17 minutes, their victory was short-lived, as Bafode Diakite scored for Lille before the first half, setting the match to 2-1. After the second half started, Jonathan David and Jonathan Bamba scored for Lille, thus turning the game around in their favor 3-2, with only 20 minutes remaining.
