At an exhibition game, Nigeria beats Team USA in an upset
Last week, Team USA lost its first exhibition game to Nigeria leading up to the Olympics. Nigeria won 90-87. The U.S. basketball community was shocked by this loss.
Since 1992 when professionals were allowed to play Olympic basketball, the U.S. team had only lost two exhibition games, before their recent loss to Nigeria. The U.S. typically dominates basketball and beat Nigeria’s team by 43 points in an exhibition game five years ago.
