NY Mets Eliminated After Wild Card Game Loss
Yesterday, Mets fans were taken aback when their team was eliminated, after losing the Wild Card game. The team which had started the season strong lost the game against the Padres, with a score of 6-0. Many fans are left wondering how this could have happened after the team which had started off the season in such a high place, and then clawed their way back to the top after their mid-season rough patch, could be eliminated in such a deflating defeat.
