When I first started becoming a bit more interested in films, and more familiar with directors, Quentin Tarantino was one I assumed I had to like. His movies are that certain kind of media you feel unintelligent for not “getting”. This is perhaps not the fault of the content itself, but of the superiority complex of its fans. Nonetheless, after realizing I did get Pulp Fiction, or at least thought I did, I was eager to delve deeper into Tarantino’s work.
