Protests in Tunisian streets against President Kais Saied continue to escalate. The country’s economy and political state have been suffering for decades, causing civil society organizations to flourish and others assisting the vulnerable and marginalized; however, a leaked draft law revealed government plans to interfere in the running of civil society organizations, giving rise to multiple society groups gathering in the streets to demand that the authorities scrap these plans.
