U.K Prime Minister Liz Truss Resigns after 45 days
Less than seven weeks into her term as U.K Prime Minister, Liz Truss, announced her resignation. She was elected by the conservative party, who currently make up the majority of the U.K’s parliament, to replace Boris Johnson after his resignation. A week before she announced her resignation she had said in a speech that she would not be stepping down.
