At least one person is dead and 4 are critically injured after a shooting in a Laguna Woods church on Sunday. The shooter opened fire Sunday afternoon at the Geneva Presbyrerian Church in Laguna Woods. At the time, members of the church were hosting a Taiwanese congregation. Authorities said the victims injured in the shooting included four Asian men, ages 66, 75, 82 and 92, and one Asian woman age 86.

After allegedly posting a manifesto professing racial motives, a white gunman went into a
supermarket in Buffalo, New York, killed 10 people and wounded 3. The 18-year-old male
streamed the attack on the social media platform Twitch, before it was removed less than two
minutes later. The Erie County Sherriff has called the attack, “pure evil”.
