The fact is…it is not a holiday but a grim tearing of the city of Irpin. People moved to the bridges like a herd of cattle responding to the sounds of the bells. The Ukrainian soldiers were blocking the advancement of Russian soldiers in Kyiv, but they also garnered their focus on helping their civilians flee from the fighting.

On Monday, leaders of Russia and Ukraine met at the Ukrainian-Belarusian border to cover diplomatic plans involving the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The delegates of each nation visited on Monday – the topics of discussion were not yet revealed. Kyiv faces conflict as citizens are forced to stay inside. With Russian soldiers taking over the city, Ukrainian citizens cannot go outside because they will be risked being labeled as the enemy.

Then, there are women and men in Ukraine who are staying behind to fight for their country.
