Fernando Alonso was given a five-second penalty because he left the track and had an advantage on the penultimate lap.

After hours and hours of the grueling golf tournament, an answer arrives, and it is not Tiger Woods who wins this time, but rather it is Scottie Scheffler who wins his First Masters Championship. At age 25, Scheffler was able to win against Rory McIlroy and Cameron Smith by three strokes. The purse contains $11,500,000. Scheffler’s wife, Meredith Scudder, was seen tearing up on his victory on television.

Turns Out Russian Skater Kamila Valieva Can Still Compete

Recently, Russian Skater Kamila Valieva failed the drug test to compete for the Olympics. She is now cleared to continue skating for the Olympics. This is because she is taking a drug for her heart medication and Valieva will be able to compete in the individual women’s skating competition Tuesday. In last week’s performance, Valieva was able to land a perfect quadruple jump.

For the first time ever, the United States won their first silver medal in figure skating at the Beijing Winter Olympics. In the Sochi 2014 and PyeongChang 2018 Games, they had only won bronze. The U.S. Team consisted of Karen Chen, Nathan Chen, Vincent Zhou, Alexa Knierim, Brandon Frazier, Madison Chock, Evan Bates, Madison Hubbell, and Zachary Donohue. Russia gained 74 points, the U.S. received 65 points, and Japan gained 63 points. For Olympics Day 3, there was pairs’ free skate, free dance, and women’s free skate. The spotlight of skating is Karen Chen. During the performance, she wore a purple free skate costume made by her mother. The little gemstones collect into the shape of the butterfly.

Under William’s leadership, Nike would select 10 emerging designers from underrepresented backgrounds to work on a new, Serena Williams–inspired collection from Nike’s Oregon headquarters.
