According to Penn Badgley, it was at his request that the intimate scenes in You’s fourth season were “phenomenally reduced.” In the most recent episode of the popular psychological thriller on Netflix, which debuted on Thursday (9 February), serial murderer Joe from Badlegy brings his pranks to London. In a special episode of the actor’s podcast Podcrushed, which he co-hosts with friends in the business Nava Kavelin and Sophie Ansari, Badgley revealed that he had requested Sera Gamble, the show’s creator, “Can I just do no more intimacy sequences” before the start of the show’s most recent season.
