In a country with over 332 million residents, the average age of Americans falls around 38 and a half years old. However, the issue of age within politics has been brought to light recently concerning the overturning of Roe v. Wade, and the problematic nature of unlimited terms within the Supreme Court. In addition, the average age of senators is about 64 years old, forcing one to ponder the absurdity that our representatives are almost twice as old as the general population that they are governing.
