The Trump family has reached an agreement with a Saudi-based real estate company to license its name to a housing and golf complex being built in Oman, reigniting speculation about former President Donald Trump’s mixing of politics and business just as he appears to be preparing to announce a third presidential bid. The agreement is the first such international marketing agreement negotiated by the Trump Organization since Trump left the White House, and it comes as the former president is already facing a slew of investigations into his business. According to a company executive, the project will be built in Muscat, Oman, on a hillside adjacent to the Gulf of Oman, and will include a golf resort, villas, and two hotels.
For the project, the Trump family is collaborating with Dar Al Arkan, one of Saudi Arabia’s largest real estate companies.
