A string of shark attacks have been recently reported at Kismet Beach on Fire Island in New York, with the most recent attack affecting a 16-year-old boy who was surfing in the area last evening. This has now been reported as the sixth non-deadly shark attack in the area over the past month, with the surfer last night suffering a 4-inch long bite to the foot. Luckily, he was able to swim to shore and walk far enough until he could call for help before eventually going to the hospital for treatment.
