“With heavy hearts, in light of current events we feel it necessary to cancel our upcoming show in Moscow at Spartak Stadium.” Green Day, an American alternative rock band, cancels their upcoming stadium concert in Moscow, Russia, after the recent attacks on Ukraine. The band was scheduled to perform on May 29th during their Hella Mega Tour in UK and Europe, featuring Fall Out Boy and Weezer, but they announced the cancellation on their Instagram story Sunday evening saying, “We are aware that this moment is not about stadium rock shows, it’s much bigger than that.”
