This week, the Biden Administration has asked the Supreme Court to extend Title 42 until after the 27th of December. Title 42, is a Trump-era policy his administration implemented during the pandemic to block over 2 million refugees on the U.S Mexico border from seeking asylum in the United States. Before this requested extension, President Joe Biden had been attempting to end the policy. In fact, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, sided with Republicans who wanted the policy to remain by temporarily blocking the Biden administration from ending Title 42.

The United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said last week that it found more than 100 pounds of unreported cheese in the backseat of a New Mexico woman’s car. The driver, who was only identified as “a female U.S. citizen,” was crossing the border at Paso Del Norte from Mexico into El Paso, Texas. According to reports, she told the CBP officials that she was bringing ten wheels of cheese, each weighing about one kilogram (2.2 pounds).

5,000 Pounds of Meth Seized Near Mexico Border

A drug bust in San Diego a few days ago broke records, with four men crossing the Mexican border into Southern California in a truck with over 5,000 pounds of methamphetamine, which is now the largest meth bust in the US-Mexico Border area. Somehow, these four individuals in their late 30s and early 40s, came from Tijuana, Mexico and managed to get into the US, traveling for 17 miles before they were stopped by authorities.
