Josh Lambo Sues Jaguars, Alleging Emotional Distress
Former Jacksonville Football player, John Lambo, is suing the franchise and alleging that former coach Urban Meyer put him through “a pattern of retaliatory harassment and a hostile work environment.” According to court documents, Lambo is seeking $3.5 million, his entire salary for 2021, and damages for reputational harm and emotional distress. He says the environment that Meyer created and the franchise affected his performance.
NYC Lawyer Fired for Misrepresenting George Floyd Case
Protesters have long spoken about the murder of George Floyd back in 2020. Police used excessive force, and recently the law department fired a lawyer for misrepresenting in the court on the George Floyd case. Lawyer Dara L. Weiss drafted an email to the lawyers for the protestors to discuss about the dispute, but she never sent it.
2022 NFL Draft
Round 1 of the 2022 NFL draft officially started on Thursday at 8 p.m. EST in Las Vegas, with Rounds 2-7 to follow on Friday and Saturday. All rounds of the draft will be televised on ESPN TV, App, Radio, and on ABC and the NFL Network. Rounds 2-3 will be held on Friday at 7 p.m. EST and Rounds 4-7 will be held at noon EST.

Five Predictions for the 2021 NBA Draft
With the 2021 NBA Draft just hours away, there is a lot of speculation over how the night will unfold. Who will go first overall? Will there be any blockbuster trades? Will anybody show up wearing a Fortnite jacket? (I really hope not). All of these questions, and more, will be answered at 8pm Thursday! With so much unpredictability and intrigue, here are my five bold (and some not so bold) predictions for what will happen tonight.
2021 NBA Lottery Mock Draft
With exactly a week until the 2021 NBA Draft, I thought I’d try my hand at doing a mock draft of the lottery, which are the first 14 picks. These picks are owned by the teams that missed the playoffs this year, although a team like the Orlando Magic, for example, has two picks in the lottery because of a trade made with the Minnesota Timberwolves. There will likely be trades before, or during, the draft next Thursday, July 29, but for the purposes for this mock, I’m going to assume that all the picks stay the same.

With the NBA Draft being just over a month away, all of the teams eliminated from contention are focusing entirely on the offseason, and the next, most pressing event after the NBA Finals is the 2021 NBA Draft, on Thursday, July 29. Rebuilding teams will get the chance to pick players from one of the most talented draft classes in recent memory and potentially pick their new franchise player, while teams in win-now mode might look to trade their picks to get some more valuable assets in return.
