It’s a new year, but for the New York Jets, there’s little reason to celebrate in light of Sunday’s 6-23 loss against the Seattle Seahawks. The game marked the team’s fifth consecutive loss this season and subsequently the Jets’ elimination from the playoffs, in what analysts have described as one of the NFL’s worst late-season nosedives to date.

Concealed Weapons Charge
Former Seattle Seahawk offensive lineman and current free agent, Duane Brown, was arrested Saturday at Los Angeles International Airport for allegedly carrying a concealed weapon in his luggage. According to multiple reports, the former NFL player was detained while going through security. Brown is due in LAX Superior Court on Aug. 3 following his arrest on a misdemeanor weapons charge.
